This post has been a long-time coming. I know the suspense must be KILLING you! A few things I have learned over the past 335 days. I have a new found sympathy for anyone considering, going through or has been through divorce. It can test and challenge even the strongest of people. A process that can leave one questioning their self-worth, faith, friends, and strength. I have the most INCREDIBLE support system and I am surrounded by kind, honest and good people. I am so blessed! This is my journey to travel not only for myself but for my children. It has changed me.....I am stronger, more optimistic, more content, my testimony of prayer and faith have grown, I know who my friends are and I am happy. This experience has made me a better mom! Consumed with trying keep my marriage together, my kids missed out on my-best-person. Now I am able to put everything I have into Parker, Bailey, Hannah and Jackson Whiting, into my family, friends and myself. Just like you, I would go through anything for my kids. I have been to a place that I hope to never experience again, my heart is broken still and feels as though it will NEVER heal. But guess what I have found out through this process? That we are much stronger than I ever thought possible. I have not traveled this journey alone it has been with your words of encouragement, your faith, your love and your kindness. You believed in me, when I couldn't believe in myself and for that I Thank YOU!
