Christmas Eve night is my favorite Holiday of the entire year, I love the traditions that we have, I love the excitement that is buzzing around our home, I love the leverage that I have for one day with "naughty" kids, the letters to Santa, cookies & carrots. Some of my favorite memories are of the conversations we have had as we lay in our beds on Christmas Eve night; listening for sleigh bells, the sounds of reindeers hoofs overhead, peeking out the window to catch a glimpse of a bright red nose in the dark night sky, the kids pointing out all the GOOD days opposed to the BAD ones, excuses to get up and take a look under the tree, butterflies fluttering around our tummies and visions sugar plums dancing in our heads (not really). I love this night! The antisipation and the magic of believing through a childs' eyes. I hope your Christmas Eve night is magical and tomorrow is full of joy, happiness and a LONG-PEACEFUL-NAP (a mom can hope). enjoy!

I know exactly what you mean! Christmas Eve is a favorite at our house for all those reasons! My kids try and stay awake listening for sleigh bells! That was a cute post. Merry late Christmas!
