Sassy!
WoW, this little spit-fire sure has had a bad couple of weeks. She has left our house with suit-case in tow 3 times. She has stormed out of the house to walk to school at least 10 times. She slams doors, screams, yells, writes mean notes etc. on a daily basis. She has been grounded more times than not (grounding is SO much more a punishment for me than her). Am I discouraged or scared that this is who she is to become? No, not really but to be honest the only hope I have is that this is a stage until she is 12 or so. The proof? I have another daughter that not only looked just like little miss sassy pants BUT acted just like her (something Bailey will strongly disagree with) and she turned out just fine (KNOCK ON WOOD). I have always said I would take 10 boys to one of these bossy-stubborn girls; the truth is I really wouldn't. I love these two they are strong girls that aren't afraid to speak their minds, to stand up for what they believe in and say EXACTLY what is on their minds. I know I may be setting myself up for some "those apples did NOT fall from the tree" comments and I couldn't agree with you more.
