I am getting SO excited to pull my lawn mower out of the shed! Weird? Maybe to most, but to me this small piece of machinery makes my heart very happy. I love EVERYTHING about mowing my lawn, not to mention my nemesis-neighbor that "thinks" he has the best lawn in the neighborhood. But in reality I have managed to kick his @$% the last 4 years straight and he knows it too!
Things about my lawn mower that make me smile:
1. My mower is candy apple red.
2. I love the smell of fresh cut grass.
3. This mower is clean, hosed off and towel dried.
4. One of my favorite summer sounds.
5. The perfectly straight lines! (like vacuum lines)
Let's mow....

SO YOU KNOW THAT I'M NOT A CLEAN FREAK... BUT, I AM A VACCUM LINE FREAK AND A LAWN FREAK..I HAVE TO MOW MY LAWN. I HATE WHEN CRAIG DOES IT..BECAUSE OF THE LINES..MY GRASS IS GOING TO KICK ASS THIS YEAR ALL ACRE AND THEN SOME:)SO I'M WITH YOU I LOVE TO MOW THE LAWN!!!

Ok, I'm laughing because just yesterday as I was walking I heard the sound of a lawn mower. I felt excited and started thinking about when I was a little girl and listening to the sound outside my classroom window and thinking "Spring is here!" I have always loved the smell of fresh cut grass too. I was actually going to do a post about this. My title was going to be "I heard the 1st sound of lawn mower today in 2009!" Maybe there's something in our names ... hmmm? =)
