I love.....

facebook! I know weird, last week I was a total hater and I couldn't understand what all the hype was about. Finding old boyfriends, friends, enemies, prom queens, the popular-snotty kids that may have received seceret wishes of ugly-kids, fat bodies or bald heads.

I wanted no part....until Danielle put herself on there. She had a few of my "friends" as her friends and as I started clicking onto profiles, photos, information about lives being lived. I became HOOKED!

I decided that when choosing my friends I would go for quality rather than quantity. I found my self completely and whole-heartedly cyberspacing, requesting friends, looking at pictures of people that I haven't seen in what feels like forever, reading about what they are doing, who they married, kids etc.

It is all extremely addicting!

It's been one week and now: "my name is Carrie and I am a facebook-aholic". There HAS to be a program out there for people like me.

The worst part about this whole process? The rejection! Oh' my heck, I'm here to tell you the day I get rejected we are having BIG problems. I can forsee myself paying my computer-geek son to hack into the losers-book and ask them "why, why wouldn't you want to be Carrie Ann Wheeler Whiting's friend?" It's going to be ugly!

(if you are on facebook and I ask you to please be my friend, just do me and yourself the painless favor of accepting my friendship)

If you haven't already get on facebook and give it a try, it is so great to find people that at some point in your life were important enough to be your friend. Re-connect with these great people, chances are they have been missing you too.

Like I tell my kids; "you can NEVER have too many good people in your life that want the best for you".

Yipee for facebook!
ps Shane Smith (my-first-true-love) You are still SMOKIN' HOT, that girlfriend of yours is a lucky-lucky girl.

I read this post after I confirmed you, and of course I accepted you as my friend! Thank you for being my friend. I have a slight problem myself with this silly facebook thing. Ty may take my computer to work with him one day just so I will do the laundry. It's pretty pathetic ... but so eXciting for Me!!

I don't get the whole facebook thing...I think blogging is so much easier! Which is a good thing...because I do not need another addiction!

Carrie...I have been on Facebook for a couple months but yesterday the world opened up to me...I had a request from someone from high school and once I accepted her a million old friends were found! It is nice to see that most of those cheerleaders and prom queens turned out just as average as ME!!! Loved the post...thanks for sharing!

The same thing happened to me. So many people tried to convince me to join for months. I finally gave in and it really is addicting! I have found some friends I never thought I would see again. My friends are all in Ohio and AZ too! It's so fun!!!
