2009 in Review

I'm (almost) a little sad to see 2009 come to an end, it has been a good-healthy-happy year for all of us.

At our house we are ready for hot summer nights, wishing on stars, flip-flops, lawn mowing, steaks on the grill, fresh fruit & unwasted car washes.

I know, you are dying for a recap of "a year in the life of the Whiting's". (thank you for pretending)

We celebrated birthdays, new babies and well deserved anniversaries.
Raised money for good causes and biked many miles in support.
Hannah kicked-it-up in soccer, she did great. Carrie Ann Wheeler Whiting discovered FB.
Jack started Tae Kwon Do he is doing awesome. We Enjoyed the most perfect summer imaginable.
Made MANY new friends.
Wished on stars & had wishes come true.
Parker made the golf team & played his best yet, turned 18, working on graduating. ugh!

This very blog celebrated a year in progress.
My lawn kicked #&@ this year!
Bailey started high school, turned 16 and is on her way to 40 hours of drive-time.
LET GO of stuff. (another personal favorite)
Paid for an outrageously-expensive prom.
We all stayed healthy! yay.
Our new puppy, Miss Lolly.
Cut up ALL credit cards.....debt control people! (personal UN-favorite)
And crazy enough, the twins turned 8! Really, serious?!?

What a great year, thank goodness for my blog which serves as a friendly reminder to all that was done, celebrated, accomplished and enjoyed.

Looking back over 2009 I realize how incredibly blessed I truly am. I have everything I need and then some. It is true......."I am a lucky girl".
