Don't worry, BE HAPPY!

I smile a lot!
In fact, yesterday ~ I'm positive I smiled over eighty-seven times. Easily.
These aren’t fake smiles. They’re big~huge, cheesy but real, wide-mouthed grins. And they’ve become a regular feature of my everyday life because I am truly HAPPY.

Here are a few things that I put on my list of priorities to help keep a smile on my face & happy in my heart.

Be grateful for everything in your life.

Gratitude. It’s amazing what positive effects we experience once we begin to say, “Thank you!” for everything.

Be thankful for the good but also for the challenges. Pain and loss are some of the most powerful teachers we have available. They reflect back to us the ways in which we need to grow. They show us the power that’s within us, how strong we can be ~ how brave and how resilient.

Surround yourself with AMAZING~ness.

Truly a glorious and an incredible gift you can give yourself. People, places, opportunities ~ YOU deserve to be loved, valued, happy with love and peace in your heart. Everyday. Do NOT settle on anything less than the most AMAZING of surroundings.

Write down your blessings.

Thousands of great-yet-simple things happen to us every day. Waking up ~ breathing ~ a job ~ another day to do better ~ friends & family ~ love ~ freedom  ~ iced coffee (ha ha) ~ a healthy body ~ choices ~ laughter ~ sunshine ~ weekends. This is MAGICAL!

Look at what is, not what isn’t.

Something that I try so hard to instill into my kids ~ We live the happiest life imaginable because we are looking at what is, not what isn’t.

Life is what’s happening right now! All the great things around you are yours.
The little things, the big things . . . The good and even the not-so-good. It's all  about perspective. Your life ~ your choices and how you choose to see things. That’s all for you.
