What a great week we had in sunny California hanging out with Mickey and Minnie. The weather was perfect, my kids were good, people were nice and not once did we get lost. Disneyland really is a happy place and September is the PERFECT time to go! We walked right on to most of the rides maybe waiting 10 minutes at the longest, the last night we were there Jackson, Hannah and I rode Splash Mountain 6 times (in a row). We laughed so hard our faces hurt and I don't think there was a time that at least half of us didn't have a huge smiles on our faces. Thanks Bailey, Hannah, Danielle and Jack for a great week and lots of happy memories. (pictures are coming)
The night we came home this is the conversation I had with Jackson Whiting.
Jackson: Mom, thanks for taking me to Disneyland. Mom, I'm happy to be home and sleep in my bed.
Me: You're welcome Buddy, I'm glad you had so much fun. I'm SUPER excited to sleep in my bed!
Jackson: Mom....why do they call Disneyland the happiest place on earth and who said that it was?
Me: I think they call it the happiest place on earth because it's so much fun and everyone is happy, even the workers are happy. Maybe Walt Disney called it that so people would come and check out what all the excitement was about.
Jackson: Mom....did Walt Disney have a mom?
Me: Yes, he had a mom, why?
Jackson: Well, I was just wondering if he had a mom like you or a house like ours or a bed like mine.
Me: (laughing) I'm pretty sure he had good stuff. Why?
Jackson: My happiest place on earth is here in my house, with my bed and YOU!
Me: Mine too little dude.

Of course you had a blast at Disneyland...who does'nt? 6 times in a row....I LOVE IT....SO FUN!!! Your Jackson is so sweet. You are one lucky lady! :)
That is the sweetest thing! I absolutely love conversations with my little ones. I try to keep them in memory and the good ones (like this) go in the blog. What a sweetheart! I am so glad you guys had a good time! We went in March this year and it wasn't too busy. Thank you SUE an BRENT PETERSEN!!!

We missed you sooo much! I thought Mal would shrivel up and die!But we made it and I'm so glad you enjoyed your vacation! I'm so excited for the pics! Tell Dan Dan i still want to see her pics of the fashion show too! I heart Jackson Whiting! :)
