August 12-14 Parker will be trying out for the Copper Hills golf team. I am so proud of him, he has worked really hard this summer I'm excited to see how well he does. He made it last year and played great, this year he made a goal of how well he wanted to do and he's right on track. My cute Dad loves taking him out and any chance they get to go out they are gone! My Dad is so patient and encouraging. I remember the first time he took Parker to the driving range when Parker was maybe 9 or 10. I asked my Dad how he did and he said "he did really well, I mean REALLY well" that's all Parker needed to hear he's been golfing ever since. To all of you banner-making, hoot and hollering, cheering from the sideline moms.....this is NOT a mom-friendly sport. Now I think about it, that is exactly why he chose to play golf instead of football. LOL

Maybe Jessie should take up golf! She hates to be the center of attention! Good for Parker! Look out Tiger Woods!
